notes
Shedding amps and electrified bombast, Dan Olmsted and Sheila Schat reveal their roots with an old Martin guitar, violin, cello and two vocals. Shades of blues, folk, country and rock, mixed with remnants of Klezmer, infuse their songs of love, longing, betrayal, and redemption. Erasing the boundaries between genres, Dandeline captures an age-old tradition: simple and honest vocals accompanied by reckless, raw instrumentation.

An engaging experience of voice and instrumentation
author: Mark the SparkI really enjoyed the unique harmony and the melding of voice and instrument. The violin, cello and guitar solos were thoughtful and spiritual. The flow of the individual pieces creates a symbiotic relationship between the listener and the music.
