Currently calling Nashville his home, 22 year-old Minnesota born and raised songwriter Daniel Ellsworth has just released his full-length debut record, "Between The Sea & The Sun". Drawing on an extremely wide range of influences, "Between The Sea & The Sun" is something fresh and unique; a healthy dose of jazz, blues, and americana influenced piano pop-rock with a 70’s vibe. Trained in both jazz and classical piano, Daniel has created a raw, piano-based organic blend of pop arrangement wonder. Recorded at Sputnik Studios with up and coming Nashville producer/engineer, Mike Odmark (Brian Militana, Allie Peden, Aaron Roche, Evan Goodberry, Ivan Colon), "Between The Sea & The Sun" sparkles with brilliant production that truly brings this music to life. Touching on love, life, & culture, Daniel Ellsworth writes with a poignant, heartfelt honesty that everyone can relate to. Currently, Daniel can be found hard at work playing and booking shows in Nashville and across the Midwest in support of "Between The Sea & The Sun." Of his first record, Daniel says, “... above all else, the intent of this music is to inspire and to just make you feel good.” In a world where violence, lies, hunger, disease, & anger are all too commonplace, there is a hopefulness and an optimism in Daniel Ellsworth’s music that will leave you smiling, dancing, singing, & wanting more.

author: Dan From MinnesotaThere is nothing I don't love about this cd! I find myself singing along, tapping my feet and/or fingers on the dash and pretending I can play the keys like Daniel Ellsworth does. You know the feeling! This is a must have cd!

Amazing, I wet my pants
author: Nashville Music MonthlyThis is a moving cd filled with intensely emotional lyrics and catchy songs that will make you dance. Ellsworth's keyboard skills are quite impressive will drums, guitar, vocals and production supporting the amazing songs. The only thing lacking was the bass playing which I found predictable and consistantly lacking in rock and roll. I imagine a little deaf and famished Dutch girl with a broke left hand playing the bass. It makes it seem more acceptable.
