notes
DB3 is Daniel Beahm (guitar/vox/keyboards), Tino Benedetti (bass) and Mike Russell (drum kit). In June of 2004, Dan Beahm independently produced and marketed DB3's debut album, "...Straight On Till Morning." In the first five months, the album sold over 500 copies. The previous year, Dan put out a solo album called "Maybe I'll Fly," also independently produced and marketed, that sold over 500 copies in its first six months.
Thoughtful, indie-pop with roots in Beahm's solo acoustic career move "...Straight On Till Morning" through a plethora of styles and genres.
Energy levels and "the sound" have garnered the band comparisons to Foo Fighters, Jimmy Eat World, The Smoking Popes, and even Led Zepplin. Beyond the pure energy, DB3 steps it up a notch by adding a charming intellect, wearing their hearts on their sleeves and telling stories that lay it all on the line for each hungry listener to consume.
Fan favorites like "The Chair Song" and "Last Call" prove DB3's radio-readiness and Beahm's ability to pen a catchy hook, but it's anthems like the life-affirming, joyous "I'm Alive" that show why DB3 has captured the hearts and souls of so many.

F**kin' R**kin'
author: Robb SealWow, this album really rocks. I was amped up from the intro bassline all the way to the pterodactyls.
definitely a fan!
author: Kathryn McKenzieWow! When I play this CD in my car it's like I have my own private praty going on. Beginning with "Roller Coaster" to really get you going, this album takes you on a journey that you won't soon forget. Dan Beahm is an artist in every sense of the word. This high energy collection of songs leaves you feeling good about life, yourself, and your friends, even if you are confronted with stark reality in songs like "Deathstar" and "Good Things Gone Bad." It's "I'm Alive" that really pumps you up and makes you feel like you can do anything you set your mind to. An intelligent, high-powered jolt of something that keeps you going even if you don't have time to get coffee on the way to work. Can't wait to see what's next from Dan Beahm!
Tour De Force
author: Jeff McCutcheonIf Led Zeppelin and Ben Folds had a love child... Dan Beahm is it... Seriously. Just start at the beginning with "Roller Coaster". There are no words I can conjure right now to describe that experience
Fantastic
author: Josh HenryStraight on till Morning is one of the best indie rock CDs of our generation. Dan Beahm is a great poet and songwriter. Mike Russell is a phoenom on the drum with excellent backup from a bare footed Tino Bennedetti.
