They Rock!!
author: NeoI have been hooked to dcf's style since the first time i heard it. The style is fresh the guitar work is excellent, the drummer is an ass kicker. This cd is not a disappointment buy it today.

author: TeraDead cel Factor is one of the best things to happen to Birmingham. The cd has a ton of different sounds to it and never gets old. I can't stop listening to it. Everyone should at least give them a chance. They are making their way to the top and bringing others with them.

Decaffittated...A steel blast furnace of Real rock
author: Cockroach(pd Rock 97.3, Birmingham)Like a steel blast furnace cranked up to full, Dead Cel manages to blend a lot of different influences into a unique and coherent sound laden with crunchy guitar work that captivates, without necessarily conforming..Decaffitated is an amalgum of what is and what will be, without ignoring the past. This is what a rock album should sound like in the Year 2000. The cover of Patsy Cline's Crazy could do for Dead Cel what Faith did for Limp Bizkit. Push E and FM are both personal favs. What makes this cd really good is that its not just the same stuff over and over. All three of these tracks have plenty of radio potential. Its a unique trip through Joe Damon's (lead vocals, song writing) inner psyche. If you like Tool, you'll love Decaffitated.
Original Refreshing Mindblowin Metal!
author: Jazzdecafitated is THE best debut album I've ever heard. It's so good to find a band that can produce a whole album of good tracks. Even some of the masters don't always do that. The intro's a little peach, leading into a taste of what's to come. The vocals are smooth, but strong, and there's no faulting (Billy Kid?) on the guitar. I'm not usally into darker metal, but I'm definately into good guitar. My favourites've got to be push-e, with some really gritty vocals, a solid base, and the odd break, just to really fuck the head-bangers up. Selfless hits you square on. No f**kin about. Classic metal, from a new band. With the melody in the middle, it's got everything a metal track should have. If you're sittin down, you won't be for long. My top track has to be smeared. More for the music lover than the die hard deth metalhead. It's a bit of a softie in camparison with the rest of the album, but I think it shows the maturity of such a new band, to mix it up. A solid base all the way through, the lyrics come through more than the guitar here, and it's the type of song you listen to, you don't just hear it, y'know what I mean? I love this album, and can't wait for a chance to see this band live. There's a couple of tracks that have to rate somewhere in everyones top 10. Buy it. Now.
Intense, Heavy, Really an album for the ages

It all starts with a melancholy and demented noise that set the tone for the brutal assault on the senses that is to come. I mean brutal in the sense that you can not put it down once you have picked it up. Song after song Fm, Push-e, Crazy, Selfless,Cut-Dry the madness never stops and you will have never felt so good after listening to this album and it will be like a godsend that you have fell into the greatest band that will be on everyone's mind for many years to come. Trust me when i tell you that you will not be disappointed when you get into this album that will leave you wanting more which will be coming to your town soon with a never-ending tour. author: ChrisI think that is band is the best heavy band in the states. The cd supplies a variety of sounds that make it a great a 'fusion of melody and brutality'. I listen to alternative music , but this album has changed my view of heavy metal.

author: Jesse D. (colorblind"Decafitated" is one of the most well executed albums I have heard in a long time. Alot of new bands seem to put out an album and burn themselves out on a few good tracks and the rest of the album is downhill, this is not the case with Dead Cel Factor. Every song on "decafitated" is beautifully done, heavy, dark and filled with emotion. The fusion of melody with brutality is superb. Joe, vocals, has an excellent voice, utilizing beautiful singing and a strong scream with hints of anger, and tons of feeling. The guitar work is also top notch, eerie work ups, dark, heavy grooves, and slam ass riffs. Everything seems to fuse together as if it were just meant to be. Many times I found myself closing my eyes and just grooving with the chaotic melody, like the calm in the storm. Songs like "push-e," "breathe," and "cut + dry" are a few of my favorites but every track is amazing in its own sense. Something about Dead Cel Factor gives them the air of completeness, making their music dead on the spot, not trying to do something impossible, keeping in on the real and letting it rip. This four piece from Alabama will be going places and will be going places soon, but don't take my word for it check them out yourself, garunteed satisfaction.
