You may be asking yourself...what is it?..where did it come from?..why?..or who even cares?...i can only answer your inquiries with, what am i not, where haven't i been, why not, and who really does... well...First things first, long story short or so it goes...We, Edward R.Palmer, am T.D.M. and the Ghost On Sound...the next projected sound of 2067. I will gladly wear the name, poet of the inner journey and an everything of the exterior infinite, for a now and a here. At this moment, while you are lending me your senses..expanding within and stirring in the vast imagination, i am dancing the universe as a truth and a contradiction, making my way back through the stars without a scream. I bring you the gift of sound. The music gets me where there needs to be, and there is free, for all and none to be. I have tuned into the inner vision and turned off the plastic wind up TV reality. Going in to get out. Each new experience, and each new step, rewrites the big book of I, and redefines each previous discovery. It is all New in every Now, all coming together as a force, working in a constant effort to communicate the vision. Which bring us tooooooooo here....To put it into words, here, using the best of my verbal ability, is to describe it as such...The music is my religion..the body the temple, the soul the godhead, the mind the prophet, the sound the word. I believe in it and live it straight down the line...i've experienced it..and it is truth...through you i connect..i am you are God..whatever that is, to whomever you may be...and yes it is true...i am a human coyote owl alien...
Now for a question, posed to the you among the explanations. Have you ever seen an example of the soul bared clean without restriction??? Well feel this. No chains or boundaries stop this free flow of the real thing. I compromise the vision for no one, no how, no way, because that's the way it's supposed to be...free. A liberated jam from the inside out..all the time. Some of the sound shaping has been influenced by personal life experiences and other talented artists i have been fortunate enough to take on along the way, in one form or another. Things like being on the verge of death as a child, witnessing and possibly being abducted by a U.F.O., feeling the power of love and the reality of hate, and living with split personalties (mine and yours), among many other items, has really molded my existance into what it is today. Right Now. This is not a test...This is not a fake plastic moon you can hang your eyes on...This is a genuine footstep into immortality...really really real...Everything and nothing...This is where it's at and how it will be for the rest of the now, because the past already was, and tommorow never is. Here is...The message is passing through, being translated through the music...racing in and out in every direction. But don't read between the lines, and don't listen to closely. Take it as it comes. Let yourself be one with always. All is now....and forever is almost here...where are you???

Palmer...the soul..the being..where the mystic rose grows and everything is found, mined, or taken from...2. a play off the name of the drug Dramamine. it is my opinion, that Mtv, top 40 radio, and manufactured pop idols have sent the ears and brains of the intelligent music listener into a bored confused dizzy motion sickness noise despair. the Drama Mine is part of the cure. 3. the Ghost On Sound are the echoes unintentionally shaping the tune and following the music on its way out, energizing every move with a vast space of voices and unexplained occurences. also a product of the trance and the lack of memory of...

DPFR immediately evokes the emotions set forth by such bands as Joy Division and the Cure but in the same instance has something to offer for fans of later industrial type bands such as Ministry and Nine Inch Nails. Put the whole thing in a blender with ice, testosterone and Edward Palmer's amazing tonal range as well as his ability to howl and you have Death Pose For Romeo in a nut shell. author: Claudio BoyDeath Pose For Romeo revives the post-punk gloom style and the new wave sound that dominated the early 80's underground music scene, and adds to it with a chilly electronica ala Fischerspooner and Miss Kitten, with the new album Shades Of Animal. This set of songs sends the listener up and down an emotional roller coaster which can be at times darkly erotic (Rush away, Shades of animal), at times a cold wave dance (Glamorize the blood, Star of skin) and at other times just plain heavy and cool (The art of hitchiking, Welcome into the deadlights). The lyrics tend to read like poetry in an obscure tounge that whips cleverly in and out of mystery and romance, adding to the goth vibe streaming through each song. With one listen you will find yourself reminiscing over the sounds of Depeche Mode, Joy Division, and Sisters of Mercy, yet also hearing something quite new and unique.
