Lenny DeLuxe is an accomplished accordionist, percussionist, and juggler. Since 1978 he has served as a theatre musical director, orchestra musician, Vaudeville entertainer, and clowning instructor.

Career highlights include numerous theatrical productions in Atlanta, Washington, DC, and elsewhere. Lenny has performed as a solo as well as half of the clown team Lenny & LaBanana, appearing at events as varied as The New York Festival of Clown Theatre, New England Vaudeville Festival, and Ben & Jerry's Road Show. In 1996, he served as musical director and site coordinator for the wildly successful "Bizzoso Art Park" during the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Lenny is currently the Musical Director of The DeLuxe Vaudeville Orchestra, the South's finest Vaudeville/Variety Show Band, and performs regularly as "Ropin' Rodger" with Cowboy Envy, an all-girl (mostly) Western Music group.

Lenny has also performed at the White House. For no money. Twice.

    This CD demonstrates all the superb qualities of the accordion as an instrument on its own (and Rodger's italien accordion especially). The choice of pieces and Rodger's sensual adaption to the accordion are outstanding. This CD is recommended to every accordion player.

    I listen to North Indian Classical music, it is based primarily on the concept of melody and is highly serious and intricate in nature. In western music melody and harmony are commonly used together. I love this CD as it is spontaneous and fun, yet it has a serious and profound touch.

    I loved this CD. It's not every day that accordian music is stylized as Lenny Deluxe has been able to do thus making his renditions of familiar tunes upbeat and fun to listen to. It's a party, it's creative and showcases his talent on a difficult instrument. Try it, you'll like it!
