Great (did we mention 100% homemade) debut album. With every note written and recorded at home, this is a true inspiration to those wanting to try their hand at bedroom pop. Strongly recommended for those who like Lo-Fi, quirky, DIY pop music.

notes
Note From Doron Diamond: Track Number 9, Job Hunt, is actually the wrong version that made it onto the album. The correct and vastly superior version can be downloaded for free on my Myspace page. www.myspace.com/dorondiamond Thank you and I hope anyone who bought/listened to the album gets to hear the correct version!
Great (did we mention 100% homemade) debut album. Remember when you first heard an album like "Hour of Bewilderbeast" by Badly Drawn Boy, Fi by Bibio, or All-Time Quarterback by Ben Gibbard? Remember thinking that you stumbled on a gem of an album, both lo-fi, yet totally emcompassing and charming, and you had it ALL to yourself? Yeah, it's kind of like that, especially considering Doron is all but completely unknown. No hype here, just a solid (and seriously good) listen. A true DIY inspiration for any of us who treat music like a serious hobby. Strongly recommended.
Doron Diamond, a recent graduate from UCSC is a self-taught, multi-instrumental-mathematical-psychologist-singer-songwriter-arranger-composer-trapeze-visual-stimulant-cognitive-artist from Beverly Hills who plays no less than 39 instruments. Music is his life. He doesn't have a band, so everything you hear is done by him alone, although one day, he'd love to be in a band, tour the country, and start a homemade musical community/label where his friends/family and anyone else can make wild-star-eyed music together. Help make that dream a reality, and please enjoy the music!

A well done album
author: Fernando GasteloI won't say this album has completely taken me by surprise, but is definitely a solid album. Even if I don't take into consideration that he did it all, or that it is his first effort; this album stands strong and sounds awesome. I'm pleased to now have it on my CD collection. PS: One of my favorites is "Balloons" it really elated me somewhere else
very well done
author: shane bauerVery good.
Great Listen, Eclectic, Nice arrangements
author: BrianI enjoyed this CD a great deal. It's a nice mix of trip-hop tracks and catchy indi-rock tunes. I particularly liked tracks 1, 3, 6, and 10. Great Job Doron!!
fun to listen to!
author: trevorThis is a really entertaining cd. I like it alot. If you like folk-ish indie-pop music, definitely check this one out.
a fresh new take on music.
author: allanThis album paints many colorful noises on a blank canvas.A touching and haunting nostalgia that fills the landscapes with beautiful harmonies and melodies.Such imbed your mind spiritually and emotionally.Your craft encompass light and will. It promotes goodness and strength. Doron is truely passionate and uniquely talented.
Very listenable, a good solid first effort.
author: ChuckA very listenable, and catchy album; I found myself humming several tunes off it later in the day. My favorite track is "And If", (liked the video too!) but I liked several of the other songs nearly as well. Can't really think of any clunkers, and how many albums can you say that about? A good and well done album, and as a first effort, done on such basic equipment, it's especially notable. It'll be interesting to see what he follows this up with.
Wonderful Debut For An Aspiring Artist
author: EvanThis is one of the most original, but at the same time conventional and familiar, new albums today. It's full of good music to either put on to relax or for a long car ride. I came across it by chance and was very impressed by it, and even more impressed when I found out that he recorded and performed all of the instruments himself. If this talented new artist decided to stick to it, I could see him hitting it big within the next 10 years.
Great Music!
It's amazing that the whole thing was recorded on Garageband. So talented. Truly fantastic album.
You WILL find yourself humming this album.
author: StevenDiamond shows you what one musician with the talent and a laptop can do. Surprisingly well done for a self-produced album, the sound really leaps out at the listener. Build up on songs like Job Hunt and Doron Diamond's Last Day On Earth really come through to complete the sound. Definitely recommended.
i love it
