Daryle Ackerman studied computer science at Okanagan University College in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada and at the University of Victoria which is also in B. C.. He received a Computer Information Systems diploma in 1998 which has allowed him to achieve gainful employment in the software development sector, which, in turn, now supports his musical endeavours. These include three solo albums' worth of original material, the last of which -- "Attention to Detail" -- is over fourty-nine minutes in length and features fourteen original songs.

- was born in 1,975 in Kelowna, B. C., Canada
- has had very little professional training, almost everything that he knows about music was garnered on his own without outside help
- has been playing saxophone (alto, tenor, baritone, and soprano, chronologically) since 1,987
- started playing pianoforte by ear in 1,988
- commenced playing keyboards and programming drum machines in 1,989
- commenced songwriting and sequencing music on his first real "workstation" keyboard at this time
- has been playing percussion (tambourines, shakers, cabasas, maracas, et cetera) since 1,990

- wrote most of "Sonatas from `on High'" in 2,001, a collection of ten original new age pianoforte sonatas plus his rendition of Schubert and co.s' classical piece `Ave Maria' which Daryle recorded in a strenuous seven consecutive day stretch starting in late January of 2,002; this recording has been labeled as being “a refreshing change” to the typical new age material in the market; this material is to be reworked and released in time
- wrote and recorded eight of eleven demos for his 2,003 album "Not of this World" also in the start of 2,002 and again in the first half of 2,003
- has been playing acoustic and electric guitar since A. D. 2,004
- recorded all of his latest album, "Attention to Detail", in 2,005, written since 2,003 but mostly in 2,005 on equipment paid for by Daryle's critically-acclaimed tenure at the Kelowna Art Gallery as a database development expert; Daryle is quite proud of his prolific musical creations of 2,005 and has plenty of good material that didn't make it onto the latest album that he plans to have released as at least an EP and also a separate full-length album, some of which he feels is his strongest work yet
- has created original visual artwork for "Sonatas from `on High' (2,002), "Not of this World" (2,003), and "Attention to Detail" (2,005), including a complement of hand drawings, a full-size poster for the "middle album", and various digital photographs of Daryle throughout the 2,000s A. D.
- knows various musicians throughout British Columbia and Alberta, Canada
- is interested in acting, not unlike how musicians Kevin Bacon, Phil Collins, Will Smith, Jon Bon Jovi, and LL Cool J have also forayed into acting
- has a song for nearly every occasion, be it his own or that of another artist/band
