it's all good
author: brian stewartFinely crafted pop tunes, all penned by Jim "the voice" Dugan. This stuff should be on the air waves. Is it maybe big in Japan? Hope to hear more from Big Jim.
Just five words is needed in this review… GET THIS CD RIGHT AWAY…
author: Pär WinbergIt’s easy sometimes… Just five words is needed in this review… GET THIS CD RIGHT AWAY… Yepp – it’s that simple. This is pure Midwest heaven. Like a mix somewhere between Gin Blossoms, John Mayer, Neal Casal, Goo Goo Dolls and Jude Cole (and for some weird reason I start to think about the voice of Cannata on some tunes… hell know why though) As I said… Get a copy today at www.cdbaby.com. I’m stunned. I love this simple and straight ahead acoustic american midwest rock. Hmmm… what else is there to write then? Well – I can tell you about a couple of tunes worth mentioning – second out “Stay With Me” smells John Mayer a long way, and “Just Like Always” is a BEAUTIFUL midtempo ballad with Jude Cole-vibes all over. Well “Look At Me” could have been a great Goo Goo Dolls tune. This album is needed in every home adoring the artists you just read about. A big big bravo to Jim and I’m sure that we will hear MUCH more from this guy in the future.
