Emily Easterly:
Growing up in Richmond, Virginia, Emily Easterly's discovery of the Beatles is what first inspired her to learn the guitar at age nine and write songs at the age of twelve. Her voice is reminiscent of unassuming singers such as Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders and Aimee Mann, displaying a kind of restraint and understatement but in a powerful way. With four self released albums under her belt, "Aseembling Emily" (2001), "Cole" (2002), "Seasons Never Change" (2005) and "Heart Comma Heart" (2007), she now releases her first work on vinyl! This split 45 with J Seger was recorded in Brooklyn, NY in June of 2008 at Galuminumfoil Studios and produced by Chris Cubeta.
"Well-rounded to the point of perfection, sweet, slyly inventive and ultimately highly memorable." -Richmond Times Dispatch

J Seger:
JSeger is the Rolling Stoner, the Sick Duck, a Marylander who began his musical odyssey in Richmond, VA, now continues in Brooklyn, NY. The music is wholly original while the man maintains a respect and reverence for possibility, tradition, and integrity. A writer, a player, and a singer; all genuinely being cool.
"Taking cues from greats like Dylan and Lennon, Mr. Seger writes damn timeless music. He sings in his own natural and pleasantly imperfect tone, telling stories that force you to keep listening to the end. His music lets you exist in a time when John Lennon never died and you could still hitchhike across the nation." - A Light In The Attic
