Armed with her acoustic guitar, powerful voice, and bold lyrics, 21 year old Elke Robitaille is not just your average little folk singer. Elke's talent as a singer-songwriter and performer is strongly matched by her knowledge of the music industry. After graduating from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, Elke moved back to Canada to continue her rapidly evolving career.
By the time her 20th birthday arrived, the enthusiastic and self-managed songstress was on the road doing a national tour of Canada, had released her second full length studio album "Naive" (the follow up to her debut album "Doors" released 2002), and had launched her own indie-folk label: Rag Veda Records. Elke has many bright plans for the future, which all revolve around a life of music.
Scribbled ideas for new songs and albums fill pages of journals, plans for getting back on the road and touring are constantly shaping, and evolving aspirations of starting a Publicity company (subsidiary to Rag Veda Records) are in the making. So you'll be sure to see much more of dreadlocked folk-star in the future!

Just what the world needs...
author: KevanThis CD is an uplifting peice of original music, that helps save everyones ears from the repetetive pop culture sounds of today. A mealow feel with a bit of a kick, it is relaxing and exciting at the same time and you can hear a well pronounced sense of emotion behind every note.
