Elliot Levine has toured with Wilson Pickett and Heatwave (Always & Forever/Boogie Nights) and has opened for Brian McKnight, Freddie Jackson, and McCoy Tyner. He has had the #1 song on mp3.com, the world's largest Internet music site with over 1,000,000 downloads. This amazing feat was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal. Elliot has three internationally released CD's which have received extensive airplay and distribution. He has headlined at Blues Alley and the Kennedy Center. His playing has been described by Jazz Times as "showing remarkable talent." In 2003, he scored the music to an Emmy nominated documentary, "Teens in Between", which was featured in Film Festivals. His music was also used on "Inside the NBA" on TBS (2001), as well as an independent college movie, "Friends With Benefits" (2003). He has also featured on the Karvavena release "The Abduction of the Art of Noise". This year, he will be releasing his 4th CD "The Funk, The Whole Funk and Nothin but the Funk".

I Loved It!
author: 'ChelleI really enjoyed this CD. Elliot Levine did an excellent job with The Funk The Whole Funk and Nothin But The Funk. I'm hooked!
classic funk, herbie hancock flavored with a bit of flip wilson
author: Theodore DiVitoSimply awesome. And to think he lives 1 city over from where I grew up. The base lines, melodies, and solid complementaties between players give this funk a solid charge. Very good to play on a saturday night.
This album brings some serious FUNK!!!!
author: zycor368@hotmail.comI'd have to say that from what I've heard, Elliot Levin is the musical "love child" of Roy Ayers and Ronnie Laws. This is exactly the kind of album that exemplifies the best of energetic, funk-driven jazz and soul music. Whether it makes you wanna get up and dance, snap your fingers, nod your head, or just sit back and get lost in the rhythm, this is funk at it's finest. Vocals are fine, but the instrumentals are also more than capable of standing on their own. Elliot Levin has crafted an aural masterpiece that I'll be listening to repeatedly. This is funk the way only a master can do it, and Levin rightly and deservedly should stand shoulder to shoulder with the giants.
