    Listening to the sounds found on Tranquil Scenes it could only take me back to the many years I lived near the ocean. You can truly make out the sounds of the coast and even those of nature in general. Ellis has the ability to bring a force of nature through his music, unlike so many others, and tell a story using a variation of instrumental voices!

    What aural descriptions! Using natural sounds underlying musical elements, he has created unique scenes. Just close your eyes. I was especially surprised by number 6 - Escape From the City. I also really like "If Space Could Talk". I don't usually like new age, but here I can make an exception. Beautiful and . . . well, tranquil.

    The thing I most like in this beautiful CD is the great use of the Orchestral flavours, perfectly blended with a sapient use of effects, concrete sounds and a bit of Electronica. Her smooth, relaxing piano leads the listener through a beautiful journey full of peace and absoulte relax and meditation. All tracks are made with a sophisticated taste. Most reccomended!

    A beautiful touch, and excellent use of instruments and sounds to create blends truly relaxing and tranquil. This CD also has varied tempos, giving a nice variety. In the rush and stress of life, it's sure nice to be able to shift gears for a while and enjoy this calming music. This is another superb project from Ellis, and I highly recommend it.
