notes
Amy is currently on hiatus from performing and show organizing. However, this past year was full of colorful singer/songwriter shows that she produced and performed at most of. Here's a sampling of recent shows that were lots of fun. Any artists mentioned are highly recommended by Amy to take note of.

Amy will play a half hour set along with half hour sets by Bobby Lynn, Leslie Mendelson & Jack Hardy. This event is free and immediately follows the singer/songwriter open mike. CNOTE is located at Avenue C between 9th & 10th Streets.
CATHARSIS SHOWS

Evocative and haunting.
author: Jeremiah BirnbaumThese are beautiful songs, sung well and excellently written. "Walking in Gozo" is my favorite, very evocative. Simple production, and upfront vocals. That's all ya need, right?
Now THAT'S what I call music! Nothing too fancy, just straight from the heart.
author: Buford McGeeMan, can this girl pick and sing! Maybe some of them lip-synchin', granola eatin', ACLU card carryin' Divas should check this out to see what REAL music is all about! (I'll quit before I get too worked up.)
I thought it was great

music that puts you in a dreamy trance
author: Sasha ZukLovely soprano voice & a fearless exploration of passion in all the songs... wonderful to listen to while lying in bed on a Sunday afternoon, dreaming of some far off place.

usually first efforts sound imitative of influences but ms emerman has her own voice already. compelling imagery which flows naturally.

author: MePure, refreshing voice reminiscent of Jewel or Eva Cassidy... Beautiful sincere acoustic effort that represents all that's right with music today. And I haven't even bought the CD yet- I can tell that from the samples! A breath of fresh air in today's world of music as mass marketing. Genuine voice and lyrics that are a cry for what music should be.
The music takes you on a poetic stroll around the world.
author: Carmen DebonoThe music takes you on a poetic stroll around the world. The acoustic guitar and Amy's voice blend wonderful and soothe the mind and soul!!!!
