In less than 20 minutes, his life was changed forever... When Hurricane Katrina hit, Eric Arceneaux and his family were trapped in an attic for three days in temperatures of over 100 degrees. “ It was a very humbling experience. After being rescued from the rooftop by helicopter, my family and I had to literally fight through a mob of scared and angry people in order to get onto a bus to take us to shelter. It was like being in hell. On top of everything, we lost one of my very close relatives at our hotel in Houston - her heart was unable to handle the stress of the ordeal.” All of his possessions gone; He started a new life. More than ever he realized just how powerful music was as a means of healing and a way of release. Katrina has driven the point home to Eric that you never know what's gonna happen. “So now I feel like this, no more waiting; I'm making my dreams happen now!"

Overseas Eric is being heralded as "The Voice," with a sound reminiscent of both Brian McKnight and Mariah Carey. His music effortlessly blends Classical, Blues, R&B, Pop and Hip-Hop to create a unique style.

His debut album, “Audio Emotion,” offers a refreshing change to the current norm with eleven tracks filled with beautiful live instrumentation.
World renowned industry vocal coach, Brett Manning, has referred to Eric’s singing as the perfect combination of technical skill and emotional connection.

    With such an inspiring life story under his belt as well as years worth of experience, Eric Arceneaux makes his statement with this, his debut album, "Audio Emotion". And emotional it is. From the stirring first track "Say Goodbye" to the ambient, mellow, and light track "Seasons", and the inspirational church based "Won't be Afraid", this album is definitely overflowing with heartfelt and soul stirring music. Definitely something for the music lover inside of you who is tired of the same humdrum sounds of today, and ready to take it back to when music was good.     This CD is fantastic. The lyrics, the arrangements, the variety of songs, and his style is most impressive to say this is his first CD.
