notes
This CD marks the first collection of my own compositions. Each song is picture of different moments in my life. For example the album title Daily Grind was written about the hustle and bustle of life and how it can wear you down sometimes. The Morning Sun is a warm ballad that was written one morning durring a beautiful sunrise. Cold Hand was written on a frosty morning in January. Bicycle Built for Two was written one afternoon when I saw a guy riding one of these things with no other passenger my immediate thought was: where did the other person go? maybe they fell off and this guy is still riding around thinking nothing has happened. My Dream was written after falling asleep listening to Rachmaninoff and having a really beautifull dream to the music.
These songs are not just songs to me they are my personal diary, my thoughts laid out in music. The songs will paint the picture for your imagination to travel though. I hope you enjoy this great piano trio album.

Eric hits the highs and lows - soulful amidst the classics
author: Dr Mike!Loved 1st and 2nd cuts. Cut 4 classically fun. There is a syncopation sequence on cut 5 that is a throwback to old jazz - loved it. Also, creative with instrument usage and some good old feelin' music. Bought 2...one as a gift and they loved it.
