The first cut, Life Gotta Live It" Is made up of sharp acoustic guitar, stand-up bass and mandolin..reminiscent of country, acoustic soul and pop folk.
"Her selection of songs from some of Portland's finest musicians, are perfectly blended with her own songs...and the spoken poem, Worm feels like summer..." says Northeast Performer. "Ross gives a compelling performance on "Worm"... on par with Ani DiFranco", says Face Magazine

Simple in all the right ways, rendered with grace and style.
author: Tracy Aspden GibbonsThis CD is a pleasure to listen to. Elizabeth has innate musicianship that comes across in her phrasing, her rhythm, and her pitch. Her voice has both purity and soul. Likewise, the songs are simple in the best way... they are easy to take in, never heavy handed, and singable. The melodies still manage to be original, and some of them are even haunting. The arrangement and production do Elizabeth and her songs justice. Especially poignant are "Invisible", featuring a beautiful cello part, and "Celestial Blessing", which evokes Joni Mitchell.
Amazing, every song hits home in way or another!
author: emross78I bought this because I was searching the internet, A9 search engine, for others who share my name, I laughed and then bought it. I was extremely glad that I did. The songs sometimes hit close to home and I overall enjoyed the music. Also, I work for Amazon.com and I can tell you not only was I impressed with their quick delivery, but how sincere their emails sound. Now thats customer service.
