A native of Scotland, Euan Morton is a performer whose singular voice has been hailed by theatre and music critics alike. He came to the States from London to play the role of Boy George in the Broadway musical Taboo (a role that earned him a Tony nomination).
Over the past two years, Euan has performed several sold-out concerts in New York City at Joe's Pub, The Zipper Theatre and Town Hall, as well as at The Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA.
NewClear, Morton's debut solo recording, has been hailed as a “stunning collection of soft pop” and The New York Times says “Euan Morton is sensational."
Recorded in New York and Virginia and produced in conjunction with Lyric Partners, this album contains 10 tracks; some new songs as well as covers of some of Euan's favorite tunes.
Highlights include “a fantastic version” of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah and the soaring title track NewClear.

SO good.

Fabulous, Fabulous and more Fabulous

The CD is fabulous she plays hers in her room (for all the neighbors to hear) and we listen to mine non stop in the car. Love all the songs!
My only complaint: TOO SHORT!
author: JenNewClear is, in a word, fantastic. There is not a single song on this CD that I want to skip over when I'm listening. Euan's voice is so pleasant; I can see myself listening to this CD *many* times. In particular, I enjoy NewClear and Chelsea Hotel, although the covers of Hallelujah and At This Moment are excellent as well. As I stated above, my only complaint with this CD is that it's too SHORT! I need more!

My God...Euans voice is amazing
author: Music Lover CAI was given NewClear as a gift and I havent stopped listening to it. Where did this guy come from? He is a revelation...I have given up on American Idol now cos I have found the only idol I need. I promise you wont be disappointed. I take road trips now just so I can spend hours in the car listening to the voice of an angel. NewClear is the best CD Ive heard in a very long time. When will his next one come out I wonder. I wont wait to get it as a gift!!
