Do you ever feel like you are somewhere in the middle? Do you ever feel that you are pretty good, but you could be so much better? Ever tell yourself "shut your mouth?". You see, I answered yes to all those questions, and then I wrote the songs. Actually it was the other way around, I wrote the lyrics to the songs and THEN asked you the questions. But you get the idea.
a dash of background: fishstick is a solo musical act based in Philadelphia. Live shows are played with a single guitar, vocals and harmonica. (Often in the key of A for some reason) The albums have lots of other sounds on them like drum beats and bass lines and echo filled yelping. the focus creating this album was on tight simple songs with smart lyrics. you will be humming these the next day.
fishstick has been around since 1994. This is his 7th album, and most would agree his best.

Great cd from a really talented guy.
author: JoshAlthough Fishstick (aka Scott Ratinoff) is a personal friend of mine I would still love this cd. Just goes to show that home recordings can be good and can be produced well.."Travel Light for a Change" and "Somewhere in the Middle" are definite favorites. Great versions of "Pretty Good" as well...Pick it up you will enjoy it! And he is a hell of a nice in addition. We love fishstick!
