notes
All the fun, excitement and drama of a Four Bitchin' Babes concert captured on CD,Gabby Road was recorded in 1997 at The Birchmere in Alexandria, VA and features The Babes at their best in front of a live audience. On stage, these four vivacious performers take turns in the spotlight, supporting each other with guitars, piano and glorious harmonies.
"Mix a little jazz, blues, folk and country with some humor and satire, they put on an outstanding show. THE GREELY TRIBUNE, COLORADO
"The antics and warmth of the Four Bitchin' Babes--one part comedy routine, one part acoustic mastery and always lots of fun." THE GREENVILLE NEWS, S.C.
The songs are eloquent and witty, the music stunning, and the humor contagious. The style of the album is folk rock, and its live with interchanges between the Bitchin Babes and the audience.
"The Babes showcase the wry humor and musical prowess that they command at their nimble fingertips. Stirring acoustic sets, stir the heart as well as the funny bone." BILLBOARD
"From their terrifically funny opening number...to their closing rendition of 'Wild Thing,' the Babes' Saturday night show was sensational entertainment." WISCONSIN STATE JOURNAL
No topic is too sacred for these Diva's, from songs about being Dyslexic, missing the legacy of family, loving a car more than life itself, not doing breakfast dishes so that they automatically become dinner dishes, to really, really bad swim wear. This is what makes The Babes, The Babes!

The New Fab Four
author: Sue-NHAll I can say is buy the CD and go see whatever version of the Four Bitchin' Babes that is on tour. The 2006 group (Debi Smith, Sally Fingerett, Nancy Moran and Deirdre Flint) are very capably and proudly holding up the tradition established by the alumnae from Babes past. A good overall laugh at life in general.
Gabby Road is AB FAB
author: XeniaI'm a Bitchin' Babe fan (up to now owner of only two more recent CDs). But, this classic collection with some of the original singers is just Absolutely Fabulous! Love Sally, Megon and Debi, and was delighted with the humor that Camille adds to the foursome. You won't be disappointed at all.
