Introduced in 1996 by Utter Records, the major independent electronic record label in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, his first single "Metropolis", a powerful flamenco house,was a success. It was pressed in vynil and spun in the most importants clubs in Brazil. The Music was spun in Cancun, Barcelona, Lisbon and New York as well.
In 1999, Gismonti releases his first album, "Feel The Freedom", in CD. Gismonti mixed in this album new and interesting songs like "Paradise" (ballad) and "Soul" (new age)with the traditional dance tracks where "Metropolis", "Feel The Freedom" and "Acid Generation" (his new single) stood out. The versions go from tribal house to melodic drum'n'bass.
Currently living in New York, Gismonti compiled "Terra Brasilis" which introduces "Words", "Terra Brasilis" and "Candles" whereas putting together his prior hits.
