HeatherSong’s debut CD YO, IT’S CHRISTMAS! is arranged, written and produced by Heather Pahl. HeatherSong recordings feature performances by a variety of invited artists – vocalists as well as musicians. HeatherSong is both Artist and Label on radio playlists – and Independent Music!
Character scenarios and sound effects are delivered in a variety of musical/ethnic stylings. The Christmas songs, including 3 instrumentals, are classics and mostly public domain. Some traditional selections celebrate the birth of Jesus but this CD is not marketed specifically as “Christian Music”. Tunes are kid-friendly and characters represent all ages. HeatherSong has rewritten some of the lyric to update appeal, and offers 2 new verses to NEW LANG SYNE. BMI: West HeatherSong Publishing
This holiday CD plays on over 70 FM/Internet Radio/TV stations internationally. Some are linked on the FRIENDS/LINKS page of www.HeatherSong.com. I've answered numerous CD requests for airplay/licensing/reviews from the US, the UK, Canada, Australia, Germany, Poland, Luxembourg and Japan. This is very exciting! We’ve received “bites” from impressive TV and film sources with serious licensing in process this 2007 season. As a final touch, YO, IT’S CHRISTMAS! was mastered by the pro who mastered the hit song MANIAC in the film FLASHDANCE. These 17 digitally produced songs were treated to “analog warming” during this process. UPC Barcode, shrink-wrapped, standard jewel case and featuring CD Text.

Long-time Los Angeles residents Heather and husband Kurt moved to the Portland, Oregon area in September 2006 to enjoy proximity to family, the great outdoors, excitingly diverse Portland and environs, and friendly Pacific Northwesterners. A little more rain, but that’s OK. We love it here!
Next CD will include 12 originals by Heather with covers and will not be holiday. HeatherSong is a recording phenomenon – no videos, no plans for touring or live performance.

Wow, all I can say is wow!
author: AirTightYo, It's Christmas is like no other CD I've ever heard. It truly is a celebration of ethnicities. Heather's "hip-hop" arrangements of Good King Winceslas and Up on the Housetop evoke hip-hop greats like Snow and Insane Clown Posse. Just listening to "A Reggae Prayer" makes me feel like I'm back at the beach in Jamaica, mon! And those hot guitar licks on "Winter Wonderland" make me feel like I'm in the front row of a Whitesnake concert. If you buy a box of these CDs as a fundraiser for your organization, you'll be sure to enjoy every single one of them.
