Joanna Mell is a classically trained harpist residing in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. After the illness and death of a close friend in 1990, she discovered the powerful effects of music and now uses the beautiful and soothing tones of the harp to promote healing and relaxation.
She has a ministry playing for those who seek peace and comfort, as well as healing and well-being. She uses her harp in her church's healing services, and has created a CD of harp music to be used for inspiration and meditation, as well as healing. Exactly what was needed for a relative on hospice.
author: Barbara McCarterI first heard your CD at Robert Wood Hospital NJ when my husband was seriously ill. I now have it and listen quite often. Then when a relative was diagnosed with a terminal illness, I sent him one and the family was so impressed. They are also from Bucks Co. Pa. and familiar with the lake pictured on the cover. I plan to share it with our sharing ministry at church as it is so relaxing and soothing.
