Karen McFeeters is an up and coming singer/songwriter who is taking Vermont by storm! The original compositions on her new album, Maybe Day, highlight her roots in contemporary folk & pop music. But she also proves her versatility as a writer and singer by including a couple of bluegrassy tunes and a dark, groovy song as well. Karen has a true gift for harmony arrangement; check out the stunning vocal layers on tunes such as "Decide" and "Forgive You Again." And when you hear her lyrics, you can reach only one conclusion: she's real. Her writing is smart, thoughtful, and heartfelt.
Karen's debut album "Bachelor Girl" was chosen as one of the Top Ten "Best of 2002" releases by Vermont artists. And Maybe Day, her sophomore effort, is sure to garner similar accolades and propel her to the forefront of emerging singer/songwriters in the northeast. Check her out!

Karen's beautiful talent shines on through once again on "Maybe Day." A pure, clear voice, memorable lyrics, and very accessible music. A true winner. Keep 'em coming, Karen!!!
Clear Voice - Clear Message - Great Instrument Mix
author: Duane BeckerThis CD is really good. The songs are quite folky rock, more so on the folk side than rock, and very similar in nature to some of Gordon Lightfoot's work. The instrumentation is well orchestrated, and the harmonies are well crafted. Her clear voice is right in front of the mix, where I believe it should be. I heard McFeeters on a local radio program in Vermont, and decided I had to get her latest CD. I find myself listening to the CD often as an escape from the usual commercial stuff out there.
