notes

Kristi Rose with multi-instrumentalist Fats Kaplin is "eclectic dynamite" garnering rave reviews both in the USA and across Europe.

THIS IS PULP COUNTRY! contains "splendid originals" like the swinging "Rise and Shine" the psycho-lovely "Come Back Tomorrow", "Angry No More" and the "heartbreaking" "All The Right Reasons" as well as the Amy Allison penned "Cheater's World". Paying homage to divas past, included is her "riveting version" of the cult classic movie theme, "Johnny Guitar" originally recorded by Peggy Lee.

The Men of Pulp Country are some of Nashville's most highly sought players including Fats Kaplin, bassist Byron House,(Emmylou Harris, Jerry Douglas,Dolly Parton) Maxwell Schauf, (Lonnie Mack) Kenny Vaughan, (Lucinda Williams, R.B. Morris) and Mr. "pulp-twang" guitar, Jackie "WR" Silverman.

What can I say about that voice? If Patsy were around, this is the CD she'd make. And don't forget.....Fats shows his virtuosity throughout. No surprise there either. 2 modern masters.
