From Albuquerque, New Mexico USA

Formed nearly five years ago, Left Unsaid began typically enough as a hard-core punk band. With four distinct musical backgrounds (from jazz and hip-hop to emo and metal) it forged a sound decidedly in the emo and punk realm. Whatever brought the group to the point it's at now, it's enough to impress the folks at the local alternative radio station The Edge, which is spinning the band's songs "Dresden" and "Paper Dolls" in regular rotation. Placed alongside songs by major label acts, Left Unsaid's music snugly fits in and attests not only to its musical vision, but the strength of the local music scene which has supported the band since its inception. With this latest release on Socyermom Records, the band which includes bassist Eric Garay, guitarists and vocalists Hunter Ashton and Mario Rivera and capable drummer Jeremy O'Neilin; is planning on touring regionally in the coming months and attempting to boost its profile with potential fans and the music industry.

This cd is amazing. I searched all the stores near me in Boston and didn't think I'd find it and didn't. So I ordered it here. This is quite possibly one of the most amazing cds that I have ever heard in my entire life. I've never been so attached to a single cd in my entire life. The flow of everything is amazing. From the lyrics to the guitar riffs to the drum beats, everything is purely amazing.

I have owned this cd since its release on August 1st, 2003, and it has not left my cd player...Tracks such as paperdolls, and dresden deserve videos, and airtime on all the big cable music networks, such as MTV, Vh1, and BET...i am expecting big things from this band in the near future.

this cd is so good.i'm very proud to see a band from albuquerque come out with something like this. it seriously sounds like a major label band. good work guys.

  • too good

this cd is too good for an unfamous band. I've seen these guys live and they're amazing. I'm not sure what the last track of the cd is, but for the rest of it, its amazing. if you're into emo/punk bands you'll love this band. they stand out from the rest of them, but then sound similar. buy it, you won't regret it.

  • great mix of punk.

Their song paperdolls has awesome lyrics that reach out to its audience and the beat is punkish and head-banging worthy. If u like modern rock/punk then u will love this cd too. I really like how all their songs are unique, unlike most pop type cds.

  • I love this band! Great cd with incredible, melodic songs.

This album is awesome I tell ya. The mixing of punk and emo definetly works on this band's album and I love how they actually used an acoustic guitar on this album - glad to see more bands not afraid to do that. In conclusion, buy this cd! NM has great potential for local bands and The Curse is a great start.
