A portion of the gross proceeds from the sale of this album will be donated by the record label to charities that support and promote music education programs for children.
Working with the idea that babies across the world are sung to sleep, this collection of traditional and original tracks begins a "world tour" of lullabies. All the tracks are performed simply yet elegantly, with just a few instruments, by artists with a variety of recording credits to their name as well as those making their recording debut with this album.
The album includes lullabies from Armenia, Israel, Germany, Spain, the British Isles and the United States.

Take your children on a musical tour
author: moxie165This CD has a great selection of different music styles and sounds. What a wonderful way to introduce your children to the wonderful WORLD of music. Anyone would enjoy this diverse selection of lullabys. I wish more CDs like this would be produced!
Solid collection
author: bomberbear313What a good collection. Kudos to the producers for gathering together such varied selections. Like the "world-tour" aspect, as well as their stated good intentions to use their funds to give back to the community. Looking foward to seeing future volumes.
