MANZANARES’ “Que Se Va” Wins One of the Top Three Best Latin Songs Worldwide in the 13th Annual Billboard World Song Contest!
MANZANARES' "Nuevo Latino" WINS BEST LATIN ALBUM AT THE 2006 INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS
What distinguishes the Manzanares brothers from other ... acts that draw heavily on the Spanish guitar sound (often referred to as nuevo flamenco) is their ability to amalgamate traditional New Mexican music with the electricity and fire of rock, flamenco, rumba and Latin sounds.
Their debut CD, Vivir, released last year, won two New Mexico Music Industry Coalition awards, one for best Latino musical production and one for best vocal performance.
The CD represents the quieter, romantic side of the brothers, with lilting melodies and soft harmonies. -Antonio Lopez, The New Mexican

LOVED IT!
author: Jennifer VYou can definitely feel this CD in your blood! Each song aches with just the right amount of passion and takes the listener exactly where the storyteller wants him to go. Intense!!

Beautiful Latin soul, with the unmistakable edge of a debut release. This is a great launch pad for their second release, "Nuevo Latino", which is more polished and energetic. Vivir is more subtle, and exudes more of the wind-blown, sun-baked feel of Northern New Mexico. Very enjoyable, and should be a part of your collection if modern flamenco has gotten into your blood.
Should Be On Everyone's "Must Buy" List
author: Dann Brown'Vivir' is an amazing outing within the competitive Latino music market. This isn't for the listener who either wants the 'Santa Fe' style they have enjoyed in southwestern elevators; instead, it is for the individual who truly enjoys the flavor and spirit of nuevo Latino music.
