MANZANARES WINS BEST LATIN ALBUM AT THE 2006 INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS

Hot Spanish guitar, sizzling Latin percussion, and soulful vocals combine to create a high-energy and fiery new Latin sound that is MANZANARES. The group is comprised of brothers, David and Michael, and the virtuosic rhythms of their Latin/Worldbeat dance band.

Michael and David reach deep into their Spanish culture to weave a muscial tapestry with a dazzling repertoire that ranges from Spanish & Middle Eastern guitar melodies to Flamenco to Pop and Latin Rock.

Their Nuevo Latino style delivers an aggressive approach to the very danceable Rumba Flamenca style mixed with an exotic, progressive blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms; Merengue, Soca and Samba. MANZANARES has been compared to the Gipsy Kings, and even likened to Santana and Ottmar Liebert... but there really has never been a group with the sound of MANZANARES.

    I have to say I was captivated at the first couple of notes of Que Se Va. I dont know what the lyrics translate to but the passion in your music was so vivacious and then some...I couldn't get enough.

    Saw this band live in Santa Fe and had to get their CD. I love "Mas Que Yo Soy" but all the songs are great. The words, the beat, the drums and trumpets. They have it all!
