Exciting and Rhythmic Latin Jazz
author: Chico ManquerosMario Flores and his band are a swinging unit from the San Francisco Bay Area who play with that West Coast "Cool" feeling. Don't let that word "Cool" hold you back this band cooks and is very tight. They swing with that signature style of West Coast Latin Jazz...I enjoy both of their CD's very much and I am looking forward to more. Check out Mario's music on my show "Gozando with Chico" on www.EastLArevue.com - Keep celebrating the spirit of ritmo!

Flashes of red, a high heel buzzing past your head, and the air beaten by flinging ponytails is an image you might associate with this fiery, salsa-powered Latin jazz ensemble. The dance floor will fill up in a rush with Mario Flores' band; he brings all the needed zest and passion to the music, reminding us why salsa cannot only be listened to- it must be danced.
