roots rock. sometimes rockabilly. sometimes a little punk. but 100% unapologetic rock and roll.

notes

may 1994: a rock n' roll band is conceived in Harrisburg, PA ! created from remnants of local bands "Easy Mickey" and "Sacred Nation", The Martini Brothers has evolved into a unique "blend", a furious concoction, and an undeniably fierce band.

for the past eleven years Deuce Gibb, Mike Mead, Rej Troup and Chad Matson have taken us on one hell of a ride. after only three practices, they recorded their first demo with Steve Ward and proceeded to open for "LIVE" in hersheypark stadium to a crowd of 17,000 screaming fans. playing a medley of rockabilly, surf and garage music, they became the "buzz band" of '95. Two years later they suffered the tragic, accidental death of their drummer and founding member, Chad Matson, but were determined to prevail with one consistent thought: to play great rock n' roll.

Since then, the martini bros have played with Reverend Horton Heat, Dick Dale, Hank Williams III, Lee Rocker of The Stray Cats, and Johnny Winter,
just to name a few. they've collaborated with national recording artist, Jeffrey Gaines, and have played coast-to-coast: from new york city to los angeles, nashville to the jersey shore, roof tops to trains, and riverboats to nearly every bar in Central PA. Constantly acquiring a passionate and loyal following based on the strength of their live performances, the Martini Bros are considered one of the premiere independent rock acts of Central Pennsylvania.

It's a live show that is beyond fun. its pure adrenaline; an atmosphere complete with a cloud of cigarette smoke, incense burning atop amplifiers, strewn shot glasses, beer bottles falling from the stage and three guys who erupt like lightning. "Deuce" (singer/guitarist) possesses the energy and power of Pete Townshend, Mike (bassist) exudes the coolness and stature of Paul Simonon, and "Rej" (drummer) with an ever present danling cigarette, is a motor and true heavy hitter. this is a rock n' roll band that emits the entire lifestyle. its the closest thing Central PA has to certifiable rock stars. believe me, if you bump into one of them at a gas station at 7am, they'll be clad in their leather boots and jackets. they live it...daily...by the second.

The Martini Bros is the most ferocious show in town and the best two hours of my week. some folks got religion; i got rock n' roll... and The Martini Bros keep my faith in check! get out the booze, get out the cigarettes, get out the gear: it's time for true rock n' roll ! its time for another decade of THE MARTINI BROS !

Duece and the boys have done it again. An incredible CD with a DVD to boot (full of live stuff, pics, and videos) for those who cant make the show. From the crowd favorite Fire, Fire, Fire. to my favorite, Spinning on an axis, they continue to rip out songs that just get your body jumping. So go on... buy one, and enjoy what these guys have to offer for your earhole... In a word, Impressive!!!
