notes
Singer/Songwriter Maureen Carr's "Stones Unturned" contains 14 originals, ranging from heartfelt ballads to tonque-in-cheek humorous commentary. Recorded in Bernville, Pennsylvania with husband Ben Carr on bass and guitar, the album also showcases the talents of Rod DeGeorge on electric guitar; Travis Wetzel on fiddle, violin, and viola; Omer Godinet on percussion; and Maureen's daughter Meghan Carr with harmony vocals. For those who know Maureen Carr for her children's music ("Alukaleigh Lutz & Other Songs for Kids"), this is quite a departure... and a worthy one at that.

Fantastic CD! What a talented performer!
author: Janet WeissI bought the CD on a tip from a friend. I listened to it on the website and had to have it. I played it for my husband when we went on vacation and he loved it, too. Maureen is a very talented woman and I look forward to more of her music.

Stones Unturned is a fine selection of contemporary folk/country/rock songs, the kind of stuff that gives a good name to singer-songwriter music.
One of the nicest albums to come across my way

Stones Unturned is a BEAUTIFUL piece of work!
Absolutely Fabulous! Espesially Rapunzel! Nancy Griffith look out!
author: Kevin McDonoughI came home one day and opened my mail after a rough day at work. To my suprise my new CD had arrived, "Stones Unturned" by Maureen Carr. I put it on and lay down in my bed. Suddenly I was not only forgetting about my day but actually in a great mood and really enjoying this CD. My favorite track is #3, "Rapunzel" but all the songs are great. My wife came home and asked when I got this CD - she said, "It's great, who is it? Nancy Griffith?" I said, "Maureen Carr. Her new CD, Stones Unturned". Now I need another copy for my own. Thanks, Maureen Carr!
