notes

Meditative transformative transcendental music. Original Native flute music recorded using an echo chamber. My style is not strictly Native American I must say. Every once in a while there's a blues feel sweetly mixed. Most people have their breath taken away by this CD.

Some of the music of this CD is recorded using American Native flutes, and some with a Japanese Native flute (Shaiko-Hachi). The Japanese Native flute was made by a friend, and is of extremely high quality, bringing instant relaxation to nearly anyone.

Ph.D. in physics; worked in the corporate world at Motorola (great people), and now fulfilling my heart's dream as a full-time professional musician.

Please note that the CDBaby mp3 files (the music tracks to your left) are fairly high quality, but not as nice as the CD itself. The music file has clicks and pops, and the instruments sound much more 'tinny' and 'distant'. I have some short *.mp3 files on my website which sound better to me... But for the highest quality, you need to get the CD!

My bio is at www.angelicstrings.com in addition to links to my other 6 CDs. (Two new ones coming out in the next few weeks)

Please check out:
www.cdbaby.com/cd/mfmorris1 through mfmorris 7... for harp, hammered dulcimer, blues, X-mas, and very soon duet music with my wife in the excellent Angelic Strings!
