Misery 5 features 25 tracks on two cds of the hottest indie bands in the frigid north. this is the fifth in a series of compilations named for Lake Superior's Misery Bay. they highlight a small culture of musical creativity that exist in a forgotten part of the country. All of the acts on this c.d. reside in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where the snow piles up to 350 inches/year.
