Mr. Joe is a retired music therapist who presently teaches courses in that area at Texas Woman's University in Denton. He holds degrees in music from Southern Methodist University and the American University. He is a published composer and member of ASCAP since 1983. He has received the annual standard award from ASCAP since 2000.
The songs on this CD began with some things that he shared with his students at the university. Their positive reaction prompted him to take his performances to local venues, where the audiences are also made mostly of young college types. The songs defy description and categorization, but most are humorous in nature.

This CD is addictive! I bought several for 'stocking stuffers' at Christmas and now various family members will spontaneously burst into song at random times! My teenager is posting it as a favorite CD on her myspace page (alongside with the typical teenager music) Thanks Mister Joe! WE LOVE IT!!!
Most enjoyable CD
author: Rae E WhitneyI was given this CD some time ago, and enjoyed it so much that I have just ordered a couple of CDs for friends. There is a joy and spontaneity in Joe's singing, and enough fun and naughtiness in the words and music to raise smiles throughout.. I hope he will do another CD soon.
