2004 nominee - "Best Celtic Album" justplainfolks.org
Imagine a session band escaping from the psycho ward, commandeering a steamroller up & down the interstate, plugging in and turning up to eleven, all the while raving about thistles and shamrocks floating to the shores of America.
Get it?
Well, neither do we...we are Na'Bodach. Billed as a "five man, high octane Celtic band" we, somehow, have been playing to packed houses and selling quite a few copies of our debut release,
"Knickers Down, Bottoms Up"!
The band has even have been nominated for "Best Celtic Album - 2004" by the "Just Plain Folks" organization! Larry Kirwan of "Black 47" says we are, "one of the best of the new Celtic bands" and we are even having our story documented by filmmaker Kevin Williams!
So...
...From all of us...Andy, Bud, Casey, George and Glenn...
Na'Bodach humbly requests your presence at www.nabodach.com Please visit and drop us a line...perhaps we will soon visit you!

kickin!
author: kelieThis is quite possibly the best CD I have ever purchased. a cappella harmonies, authentic irish drumming, celtic rock, you can't ask for a better mix. This is truly the best celtic rock band I have ever heard. The track order is laid out geniusly between "folk" and "rock" styles. If you buy this CD, you won't be disappointed. (The band actually promises you that.)
Man oh man
author: BoydIf you're looking for a good mix of traddy and new, definately purchase this CD. The songs are oldies (a couple from 1798, yes, 1798!) redone with a rock flair. Foot tappin', hand clappin', floor stomping music. (I know it says not to say anything about the artist, but I see them live often, and they ALWAYS get people up dancing with their music). So, my advice to you is buy this CD, if not, a very angry talking walrus will stand on your front lawn, and sing the Banana Boat Song, off key!
01/06 - Traditional Irish Fare in both MILD and WOW sauce versions!
author: L GarveyA really great mix of traditional Irish sounds, original songs, and some kick ass electric mix and rock! The band steps up -- this album IS at the end of the rainbow! Great job!
Fun!

Superfantabulous
author: MinorThis CD is absolutely the total package. Every type of instrument is used brilliantly. This band is awesome...I can't wait for another album
so good, we wore out our first copy
author: AngieThis CD is really amazing! It's the best celtic rock around!! After listening to it over and over, we did a road trip to see them in person and are now officially Na'Bodach heads.
You guys are awesome - we really enjoyed you at Brittingham's - Glen, we enjoyed
author: SandyYour CD is great! You have a unique sound and we thoroughly enjoy it!
Excellent
author: Bill CainNot that being a Neighbor of one of the Band members makes me bias but this is some good music. I am into all kinds of music and this is very enjoyable throughout the entire album. Go see them in person, it's even better.
Amazing
author: Jake FahsWow what a blend of celtic music and great rock
what an awesome mix
author: P BrainThe mix of traditional and original work makes this a CD to own. Their true wild irish flair shows through even on such a well known piece as John Barleycorn. Looking forward to more Na'Bodach!
They kick a**. Crank the volume. Delicious.
author: Lisa Wildfire"Traditional" may have written the songs, but that's not who's playing it. This CD is an amazing synergy of generations-old with cutting-edge new, without sounding forced or commercial. My 13 y.o. son, v. choosy abt his music, said Na Bodach's version of John Barleycorn was much better than Traffic's. A delicious, satisfying musical meal.
Absolutely Brilliant - I can't take my foot off the gas pedal !!
author: Nik AllenGreat driving, foot tapping music, well done lads from a Welsh Celt in Canada.
buy this cd!!!!
buy this! you won't be dissappointed!
Celtic folk with balls, great music
author: Richard MolenkampGreat Celtic (irish) folk music supported by elctric/acoustic rock. Especially the slow version (backed by electric guitar)of the traditional song Finnegans wake is a masterpiece in itself. After listening to this CD several times I can only think: More.....
