2006 OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION to BLUES/JAZZ MUSIC – BLUE MOUNTAINS MUSIC AWARDS
The first single from her debut album Lucy's Daughter, "Leavin’ You For Myself" was her first Top 10 hit. Following singles "Remember Me" and "Honey, I Don't Have Time" also reached Top 10 success on the Australian Top 30 Country Tracks chart.
So far in 2008 Nicki has continued her International touring in the South Pacific, within the Indonesian Archepelago and across to Kentucky in the US.
2007 saw Nicki named Coopers Golden Saddle Award Winner, as well as being awarded Open Album Of The Year and Independent Female Vocalist Of The Year at the Inaugural Horsham CM Awards.
2006 saw the release of her single "On The Mountain" and irresistible bluegrass tune which showcased Nicki's remarkable voice.. the single reached # 2 in the European Charts...and was followed by the second single "Jealousy" which also performed well in the ECMA chart.
Also in 20O6 Nicki toured extensively across the Middle East performing to captive audiences with Australian country artist Stacey Morris and Australian Idol finalist Lee Harding.
