    Now, from a young man such as myself, I would be expected to listen to that "party music" or that noise that old people and parents dislike. Unfortunate for them, I know about Dave Pahanish. And they should too. Dave's voice pierces your soul and his guitar skills come right behind! I could listen to his jams all day and all week. I can't wait to see him make it big and say,"That guy played at my shop!" Truly an amazing musician.

    I purchased this CD after meeting and hearing Dave at a concert given at my deployed location. He was awesome...great voice, lyrics and provided a nice little "coffee shop" feel in a 120 degree location! Wonderful!

    This album contains deeply genuine and moving vocals with lyrical sunject matter covering a wide range of everyday life issues. This is backed up, but not overwhelmed by, the standard guitar and drums. It is upbeat but not silly, and deep but not at all sad. Dave's first big release is well worth your listen!

    If you think his music sounds excellent on the CD, which it does, you go check him out live. Even when he's performing by himself acoustically, it seems there's someone behind him starting and stoping a CD player. I can't say enough about his music. Why isn't this guy signed after all ?

    Dave writes intimate songs that are poignant, spiritual and hopeful. His music addresses the dark side of life but is filled with promise. Pahanish’s music is like a rich textured landscape that unfolds as the story is told. Shine is an upbeat and optimistic eleven-track collection. It has a bright ambiance even in its darker moments. Dave sings his soulful melodies with passion and conviction. Pahanish is supported by a fine group of musicians on drums, bass and guitars. ‘Billy the Kid’ opens with an intriguing rift and flows into smooth vocals backed by a steady beat. The title track ‘Shine’ has a great hook line infused with solid instrumentation. ‘Providence’ is soft and smooth but cascades into a faster pace and a positive message that we are not alone. Dave Pahanish truly shines on his second release, which is enjoyable like a warm sunny day!
