Phaze II is a six piece Contemporary Jazz/Funk band from Washington, DC. The CD consists of ten original compositions and one cover song. Options is a mix of free jazz, funk, Latin Jazz, and R & B. Phaze II has been together for ten years and they are currently working on their third CD. Phaze II were also the winners of the 2005 Capital Jazz Challenge held at the 13th Annual Capital Jazz Festival. Phaze II was selected from over 600 entries across the country. Did you guys make a track of that? I bought his CD hoping it was on it but it wasn't. The CD was great though and I'll buy your second one too, but I really want a copy of that cut you guys did that Sunday night.

Great Jazz Band
author: JoanI heard Phaze II for the first time in August 2006 a Wedding in Manassas, VA. They are GREAT, the best jazz and R&B that I've heard live in a long time. I keep checking the website to see when they will be performing in Northern Virginia Area

OPTIONS is one of the best jazz cd I have listen to. Phaze II style is unique with a blend of jazz, r&b, and salsa. It's a must to purchase. Great job PHAZE II.

I enjoyed the 1st CD Options but I recently obtain the 2nd CD, "Back Talk", which is the best. To me the last CD, reflects growth and maturity. I see the group raising the bar!! Your Jasper Fan in Greenbelt!
