"Preast (from the infamous four-man collective, Qualo) branches out to discharge his controversial, political and intriguing thoughts over dark soundscapes and banging beats on this solo debut. This album is a definite classic." -important music critic

notes
"I am the truth, and the truth shall set you free..."
The truth spoken of here comes in the form of Chicago based storyteller/MC Preast, delivered via Fear God. Tell the Truth. And Make Money, his debut solo album.
Preast got his start on street corners spinning tales of an accelerated youth, criminal living and visions of a better life. In high school he co-founded the legendary four man collective Qualo. The group featured in nationwide publications XXL, the Source and Playboy, online magazines Allhiphop.com and Synthesis.com, and MTV's My Block: Chicago, is held by many to be the next big movement out of the Windy City.
If Qualo is a well trained assassin, Preast is the gun-hand....effective in a unit, yet deadly in his own right. Delivering passionate cinematic style narratives with an undeniable swagger, Preast's sermons invite obvious comparisons to Tupac Shakur and Jay-Z.
In his solo debut, Preast paints a vivid picture of an artist treading the murky waters of the music biz on the hilarious "Label Hoes", and surviving the compelling influence of an abusive alcoholic father on the heart-breaking "Rivers Run Deep". No stranger to the boards, Preast also produced and co-produced nearly every track on Fear God. Tell the Truth. And Make Money.
Preast's resume boasts over 37 releases and over 250K units sold in three years, including mixtapes and guest features. Performing since the age of thirteen, Preast is a natural entertainer and born leader, with an enigmatic persona on and off stage. A wordsmith who can rock a crowd is an exceptional breed in the hip hop world, and Preast personifies such a rarity. A polymath who can sway hips and attitudes, allow Preast to do the telling.
Hear the truth.

Introducing Me.........
author: QuiNot much to say except thanks. There are too many artists releasing bullshit and calling it music. The movement is much more and for those haven't known you since third grade, like myself, when they hear this.........it will set them free. Peace!
Macin is back in!
author: Yashuaok. lets state facts: 1)hip hop game is mostly glam, and no real "real-talk" 2)this too shall pass. This album is the realest sh*t I heard since The Great Two ascended into the clouds. Real ryhmes with real swag. Knockin beats! Preast is fortifying Chicago as a lyrical pillar in the game. KEEP MOVIN FAMO.
