Music Biography
As a world traveler, teacher and musician, Renee Claire has been exposed to a variety of colorful cultures and musical styles. During her extensive travels and employment throughout Southeast Asia, Europe, Nepal, Africa and the Middle East, she has taken her musical talents along with her playing at festivals and other events. In 2000 a determined vocalist and classically trained violinist decided to pick up a guitar and learn how to transform pages of lyrics into song.
Renée Claire has worked with a number of musicians over the years including Mitch Dorge of the Crash Test Dummies, recording a song on his critically acclaimed ambient album, "As Trees Walking". The song titled "I'll Always Love You" was also included in the Canadian short film, "Cemetery Love Story" with an accompanying music video featuring Renee Claire, directed by John Barnard of Farpoint Films Inc. After years of being involved with a variety of musicians, performing and recording both here in Canada and in countries overseas, she felt it was time for her to create her very own piece of work.
Her debut album titled, "Hindsight Tour" was partially written in countries in Southeast Asia, Canada and this past year in Egypt where she began recording, but due to a computer meltdown had to stop and begin again upon her return to Canada. "Hindsight Tour" is exactly that, a folk rock melodic tour of the past, present and future. The songs are all interconnected in speaking of life experiences, regret, challenges that have been faced and are yet to be faced, and independence. Renee's vibrant lyrics, strong vocal abilities and catchy melodies are sure to leave you wanting more.

Amazing voice and lyrics overall great sound
author: Tyler MillsI know renee from Clear Lake as a friend and a musician and all i can say is She sings like an angel. You should all buy this CD you will love all the songs. Also you can support a great person in acheiving her musical goals. Maybe we will be lucky enough to hear a 2nd disk.

author: Chris WhitakerBuy two copies of this CD! You're going to want to keep one and give the other as a gift to your best friend. I was lucky to know Renee when she was living in Cairo and to see her perform there where she was experiencing the life that gave her several of these songs. It was clear then that she was headed somewhere with her music and this CD should be the first stop on the desert road to success. The songs are well-written and in many spots very clever. Her voice is natural sounding and strong and mature. These are songs written and performed by a grown woman, not a teenage pop star. She has a unique ability to voice her lyrics in a way that adds reality and depth ("Drowning in the Desert" and "Disconnect"). The production could have been finer tuned. On several cuts the drums hurt more than they help and in a very few instances her enthusiasm should have been dampened some.
