About the Free South Band at www.FreeSouth.net
This CD pulls no punches. Every song on the CD is true and meaningful. The line is drawn. The music industry is trying to be so politically correct and scared to touch Southern Heritage Music Themes. "We're proud to be from the South and our heritage is important to us."

I want to feature your CD. Send more info.

It really addresses a void in contemporary "Southern music." Nashville has become so politically-correct that songs can no longer be produced that address "Southern" or "Confederate" issues. This CD, will be a lesson to the Nashville CEO's: "This is what our people want! When you don't give it to us - we'll produce it ourselves!" This is an exciting time for all lovers of "Southern music." John Thomas Cripps, Chairman FreeSouth.org
Listening to the FREE SOUTH CD my friend brought over. It really made me homesick for Dixie and just wanted to say that I too appreciate the lyrics and new sound rather than
remakes of our old historical songs. The music sounded like a cross between Alabama, Waylon, Charley Daniel's, Hank WilliamsJr., Johnny Paycheck. It made my weekend
Congratulations. Best, --Ron Holland --Dixie Daily News. http://www.southerncaucus.org/
I enjoyed your album. Especially the contemporary sound approach rather than just another collection of the real old stuff. As a producer myself (film/video), it was easy to recognize the professional touch behind the CD.

We will stock them here and we will put them on our site when they appear in our catalog.

author: Jerry WellsOne heck of a collection. Here in Occupied Virginia, Henrico County, literally surrounded by Northerners, this and other Heritage collections are the only "Heritage" we can enjoy. So I rev the volume up for them. Surprising how many say I love your music. Guess they don't want another Sumter. Anyhow, I'll be ordering uour CD for my Confederate friends.

author: CynthiaI have been listening to this CD over and over for two days (I have a three hour commute). It is excellent and original. I love their rendition of Dixie--they have some Lynyrd Skynyrd going on at the end and I crank it up and sing along. Farm Boy is a tear-jerker. Atlanta has become so Yankeefied that this makes me feel like I live in the South again. Thank you Free South Band!
