Robert has almost always been interested in music, and playing an instrument, even back when he was 4 years old. His instrument at that time was a ukulele!

Over the years his msuical tastes and capabilities have grown into a passion. That's what lead to his writing these songs, and ultimately recording the album.

It's made up of songs he wrote in late 2005, thru the first half of 2006. In it you'll find stories like Big Land, which describes an ancestral voyage from the homeland to the States. It could easily pertain to your relatives. There is a tale of deceit in the blues tune, You Ain't Got It Bad, and a fictional(?) account of a child who doesn't understand the Irish conflict in Foolish Child. Couple those with a fantasy plane ride to Europe in the song Amsterdam, and you have a small taste of what to expect on the CD.

    Robert writes from the heart and it shows,I've had the priveledge of hearing him a couple of times live (where I got the CD.)As a fellow Michigander, consider him as a true state treasure. If you can't hear him live at least by the CD (His soon to be released new one too) Heck it's almost the Hollidays (no matter what time of year,) buy a bunch.

    The songwriting is excellent, each tune tells a story, and each story is expressed by fine singing and strong acoustic guitar work. The song selections represent our human emotions and, because of that, they strike a very REAL chord. I'm looking forward to Robert's next CD!

    Enjoyed Amsterdam. How can I get on that flight? Fair Weather Man speaks for many of us. Very pertinent lyrics in many of the songs. I recommend this CD. Great job.

    This CD is the end result of what I call a creative explosion. I had the priviledge of hearing the devolopment of each song from its infancy through the finished product. The lyrics are fantastic and tell a story in each song. The guitar playing is simply outstanding. The only thing better than listening to the CD is going to hear them live!
