notes

Born in 1968, a child of southern leisure,
influenced by northeastern transplants, it was evident that music would be my avenue of artistic expression. Influences were deeply engrained by AM band Top 40, Oldies, and Country music radio stations. Riding solo in the commodious back seat of my mother's 1966 Ford Galaxie 500, I was exposed to the classic sounds of the Fab Four, one hit wonders, and Disco.

Many Years were spent playing live music in small venues and writing sporadically. My years as a professional broadcaster required a nomadic displacement foraging for work and experiencing life in different cities. The raw demo tracks included in this package were recorded in a small attic flat in the Bronx, a small studio apartment in Queens, and a retro electronica song recorded improvisationally, in one take, in Southern California.

You'll be treated to a cornucopia of uncontrolled anamolies such as barking dogs, rumbling subway trains, slamming doors, car alarms, low flying blade warbling helicopter traffic, sonorous pedestrians, misplayed chords, inextricably poor track editing, wrongly sung lyrics, and, an endless list of audible sins. You can't really hear these things, though it was frustrating to record during these sessions. Each song tells a story and exhibits a facet of my past encounters, expressing the poetic candor of my inner soul.

Making this project was a labor of love, and a dream finally realized, after decades of procrastination. All cd artwork, photography, layouts, compositions, arrangements, recording and mixing were completed soley,to the best of my abilities. The following selections are raw tracks written, recorded, and mastered between 1996 - 2006.
