SAGE4 (formerly SAGE) is a powerful and unique female-fronted Heavy Metal band that is exploding out of Chicago's original rock scene. SAGE4 combines elements of Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Progressive Rock, Gothic Rock and Alternative Rock to create a sound that breaks through musical boundaries.

SAGE4 features one-of-a-kind powerhouse vocalist Tracey Sage, who has been described by Sea of Tranquility as how Maynard James Keenan (from TOOL, A Perfect Circle) "might sound had he been born with ovaries". SAGE4 captivates their audience on all levels with intense live performances, dark and aggressive melodies, edgy, thought-provoking lyrics, impeccable musicianship and killer style.

As stated by MidwestBands.com, "Their music is the stuff of virtuosos, tapping into sounds similar to bands like Tool, Dream Theater and A Perfect Circle. With the vocal strength of Tracey Sage and the musical talent of Mike, Vito, and Eric, expect big things, and be listening for a lot of clatter in the Industry regarding the band"!

Endorsements: Randall Amps, Dean Markley Strings, Stylus Picks and M.A.C.E. Music's String Dampeners.

SAGE4 won the Hot Topic National Battle of the bands and has landed a huge movie soundtrack/appearance in the upcoming horror movie "Evil Angel" starring Ving Rhames! The band is currently in the studio working on their debut full length CD release.

  • A Must Have

Never underestimate the power of only a 5 song cd because this will blow your mind away!!!

  • Well Worth It
    author: Andrew Scott

This CD is simply awesome! There may only be 5 songs on it but take it from me, they are well worth buying this CD! If you are a fan of female fronted rock/metal bands, you owe it to yourself to check this band out!

  • Awesome, but needs more songs

Please make your next album longer, but besides that, you are awesome.

  • One word, AMAZING!

This CD is absolutely amazing! All of the tracks are diverse and outstanding in their own way. The only downside is that 5 songs is not enough. Need more Sage!

  • Amazing in every aspect!

Buy this CD, it is amazing in every aspect from the intricate layering in the music to the profound lyrics to the best vocalist I've heard in a while! I can't get enough.

  • I loved it!!!

Simply put. The music is fast and heavy, with powerful female vocals. Anyone who loves great heavy Metal will love this album!!!

  • Their music is refreshing, and it’s awesome to hear music that is living, breath
    author: Midwest Bands

The CD features Tracey’s powerful vocals, incredible melodic guitar work from Mike Walsh (who happens to be endorsed by Randall Amplifiers and Stylus Picks, among other companies) and thunderous sound from the rhythm section (Rob Thompson on bass and Eric Ganci on drums). This is more than just head-banging Metal music; it is the stuff of virtuosos, tapping into sounds similar to bands like Tool, Dream Theater and A Perfect Circle. For me, it was music that made me think and listen closely – not just Hard Rock drivel that can be heard from the cover bands in the party bars on the weekends. Mike Walsh’s chops are first-rate, Tracey Sage sings with incredible authority, and Rob and Eric are more than up to the challenge of keeping up! No slouches allowed in this band! Their music is refreshing, and it has been awesome to hear music that is living, breathing, and intelligent! With the vocal strength of Tracey Sage and the musical talent of Mike, Rob, and Eric, expect big things, and be listening for a lot of clatter in the Industry regarding the band!

  • "I can easily highly recommend it to any female fronted rock/metal fan!"
