notes
Steve Krase & The In Crowd, winners of the "Best Unsigned Blues Band" in Houston Texas in 2004. Steve Krase leads with powerful vocals and screaming harmonica! Guitar wizard James Henry lights a fire that just gets hotter! The CD also features the legendary keyboardist, Robert "Pee Wee" Stephens, guitarist Doug Black. The rhythm section of drummer Brian "Cannon" Kinnear, and Mr "Spare Time" Murray on Bass create a well defined pocket of rhythm that enables Krase and Henry to perform daring acts of musical heroism on their respective instruments.
Steve Krase originally from New York, was inspired to pursue a career in music by the great "Boston Hellraisers" The J Geils Band. After performing with various bands around the country during the 90's Krase became a fixture in Houston legend Jerry Lightfoot's band "The Essentials". Here he combined his high energy harp playing with Lightfoot's passionate guitar playing and vocals. James Henry, a Texas native, also mentored by the great guitarist Jerry Lightfoot, now combines with Krase to form an imposing 1-2 punch that is unequaled in the Blues world today. You have to hear it to believe it!

author: Vicki (Hahn) DayThis band screams! Awesome harp, guitar and keyboards supporting provocative vocals, pulled together with a tight rhythm section. What more could you want? Hard to pick a favorite, but track 6 - Pray For Me - just does something for me! Can't wait to see them live!
