notes
St. Eve began as a solo music project by L. Gabrielle Penabaz in 1998.
Since its inception, the project has grown from a few ideas in a small home studio to become a full-scale performance medium including a live band.
The aesthetic is essentially theatrical, with fantastical and cyber-fetish elements. The music is often classified as dark electronic or alternative pop, but you can make up your own mind.
St. Eve successfully supported a series of performances for Gary Numan winter 2001 in the UK, and has played with Coil, The Crüxshadows, Voltaire, Glampire and others.
St. Eve appears on the compilation "Songs Of A Goddess", a Tori Amos Tribute on Cleopatra Records, and appears in the documentary and soundtrack, "Sex, Death and Eyeliner".
St. Eve has played at such large-scale venues as House of Blues in New Orleans, Hammerstein Ballroom, Webster Hall and Irving Plaza in NY, The Trocadero in Philadelphia, The Limelight in Belfast and the Forum in London.
The project is also a favorite of cutting edge small-scale venues like Mother, Shine, Limelight, Downtime, Alchemy @ CBGB, Smack!, and Xorvia.

No Human Words for this CD
author: Troyyeah i can't come up with the words to describe this CD... unbelievable just doesn't cut it. First heard a tiny clip while listening to gothicradio.com. They were promoting the Sex, Death, and Eyeliner sndtk. I dl'ed No Human Words from mp3.com and had to buy it. There is nothing better than a great artist and a vocalist who just blows your mind in every way.
