    heart in my hand
This is a project of love with the friends I grew up with. It is based on Rock and Jazz from the era that we grew up in (60's and 70's.) We, as friends, got back together after 30 years and had a blast. A little bit of old, a little bit of new.

    InPulse
    Shed a Little Light
InPulse's debut Christmas release, nominated for the 2004 CARA for "Best Holiday Album" contains new twists on traditional carols like "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" and "O Holy Night", and great originals like "This is How Christmas was Meant to Be".
In 2003, INPULSE launched one of the most celebrated debuts in a cappella history, breaking away from traditional conventions of a cappella to define the term “Vocal Band.” Having trained at world-renowned St. Olaf and Concordia Colleges in Minnesota, the group’s high standards for vocal technique, execution, and musical integrity have won them numerous awards. Within six months as a professional ensemble, InPulse was named Grand Champion of the 2004 Rocky Mountain Harmony Sweepstakes in Denver, CO, where they also won awards for Best Soloist (Matt McDonald) and Best Original Song (“Obsession”). The band took Runner-up at the 2004 International Harmony Sweepstakes Finals in San Rafael, CA, again winning Best Original Song. InPulse continues to amass praise with every performance recently being selected for Mainstage Showcases at the 2007 National Association of Campus Activities (NACA) and Association for Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA) National Conferences - in Nashville, TN and Atlanta, GA, respectively. INPULSE was awarded Runner-Up for “2007 Band of the Year” by Campus Activities Magazine, making them one of the hottest, most sought-after acts on the college market today. INPULSE has sold over 25,000 copies of their recordings including debut album “Alone and Above” and holiday album, “Shed a Little Light.” Both albums received nominations for Album of the Year by the Contemporary A Cappella Society of America. The band released its third album, “InPulse: Live,” in December of 2006. INPULSE showcases its talent across the nation, maintaining a rigorous touring schedule of concert halls, colleges & universities, fairs & festivals, community, and private events. In addition, INPULSE runs its own highly-acclaimed Educational Outreach Program which brings them to schools across the country as advocates for vocal music and lifelong arts involvement. As educators, INPULSE has served as Guest Artist/Clinicians at the 2007 East Coast A Cappella Summit in Washington DC, the 2007 Ohio-ACDA Conference, in Columbus, OH and as faculty at the Heartland Vocal Camp. InPulse creates a mind-blowing kaleidoscope of music that crosses all genres and styles to define the term “Vocal Band.” Their slamming beats, stunning solos and tight harmonies will leave you breathless. INPULSE plays an active part in the evolution of a cappella music through dynamic, original compositions and inventive arrangements of songs distinctive to the INPULSE sound. The group’s artistic approach leaves little confusion as to their mission: To take the “vocal band” sound into mainstream popular music and bring genuine musical artistry to today’s pop culture.
