Living in the Old West End
This is music that crosses genres and generations. Eclectic, evocative vignettes of a time long ago, yet as fresh as yesterday's rain. From Brill Building pop and folk to hip hop and heavy metal, all tied together by a strong lyrical thread.

    Man On the Run
"Man on the Run" is a rock western. I'm not sure that genre even exists, but if it does..."Man on the Run" fits.

An unusual album of beautiful guitar driven rock with relevant and thought provoking lyrics. Reminiscent of REM in their "Orange Crush" period. The songs explore addiction, depression, greed, jealousy, murder, anger and revolution.

    Sons of Bill
    A Far Cry From Freedom
    Country/Rock/Folk
Charlottesville Virginia's original country rock band, Sons of Bill, was started by three brothers in the fall of 2005. In The previous year, all three brothers were at very different stages in their lives: One a grad student in Maryland, one attending college on a cattle ranch in Nevada, and one a gigging musician in NYC, it seemed as though their musical ventures together would be limited to the Wilson family room during Holidays. But while away, they all felt the need to get back to their roots, get back home to Virginia, and get back to the music they grew up with. While visiting one another in an apartment in Brooklyn, Sam and James began to play the songs they knew in common, the old country songs their father, Bill Wilson, had taught them when they were first learning to play. At that moment they decided to start a band, with its roots in traditional country, while not denying the rock influences they had accumulated in various bands over the years. With middle brother Abe on keys and banjo, and the addition of Seth Green on bass, Sons of Bill was set. The boys soon recorded their first full-length record "A Far Cry From Freedom," which has been receiving airplay throughout the country, and under gone several pressings to keep up with the ever increasing demand. All the while Sons of Bill has been touring hard, packing houses locally and gaining fans regionally at colleges and clubs up and down the east coast.
