To The Mountains
To The Mountains is an anthology of twelve songs performed live by Dan Nichols and Eighteen at the Timberwolf cabin nestled in The Great Smoky Mountains. Overdubs were used as sparingly as possible in order to maintain the character of the live feel. We played what felt good and recorded when the time felt right. The result is a collection of our moments on the mountain: moments of celebration, redemption, release, meditation, prayer, and thanks.
Mark, Nathan and I went to Timberwolf cabin and sang, ate, played pool, worked hard, relaxed, talked, laughed, dug deep into our souls and recorded an album that we are very proud of.
